The memorial museum of the sculptor Vincas Grybas (1890-1941) was established as a museum of regional studies in 1947. Later in 1960, after the exposition of the sculptor’s works had been expanded, the museum was conferred on the name of V.Grybas memorial museum, the title that points out its essence and purpose.
